Ever listen to a gold bug try to explain the sins of fiat currency before? Better yet, ever listen to the same gold bug try to explain why a “crypto-currency” like Bitcoin was the solution to the problem of fiat currency?

Maybe not. I’m fully aware that most people on this Earth have not spent their lives on the frivolity and sinful indulgences that I have. That’s what I’m here for: to digest the mutant sputum of the political fringe for you and spit it back up as a sort of deceptively palatable butter-cream. So let’s talk about money, and why it makes you complicit in many, many murders. NH Bill Renders Bitcoin Unto Caesar

Eric Schleien (R), co-sponsored by six other representatives as well as Senator Kevin Avard (R).  If passed, the bill would task the state treasurer to “develop an implementation plan” for the state government to accept “payment for taxes and fees” via bitcoin (BTC). And nowhere in its sparse ten lines does the bill explain why anyone would want the state to do that. Continue reading
